not following...
A bochur salary is cheap, he doesn't have a family to host, and he's doing other work as well
We have been unburdened by what has been.

bachur salary these days is between $160-$200 daily
You'll have at least one rav hamachshir/head mashgiach and often a second taking at least one room, often two.
If you have 7 bachrim for 12-15 days ..that's $15000 just for the bachrim+ 2-3 rooms

I'm curious what's the average cost of Kashrus for these programs?
Just in salaries I imagine it between $35000-$50000.
That doesn't include the loss of rooms (assuming a sold out venue) and cost to host mashgichim and some of their families.
pay is less than min wage (comped stay is part of 'pay) 3- 4 guys to a room 'problem' solved

fact is room and board cost are marginal in terms of usage its lost capacity/ revenue that's the real cost - n/a unless program is sold out.

if they are out of pocket 50k for hashgacha thats less than some families pay for a couple of rooms.

A well run program will be profitable well before its sold out, so its really a question of lost profit vs. 'cost"

not sure which programs your referring to but that's not the case with the ones I'm familiar with.
My hotel specifically has completely been sold out the past few years . Also, even if not sold out, often they don't pay for rooms not sold if they sell a minimum

to clarify the group rate they pay the hotel is marginal relative to the rate program guests pay.

Kashrus is part of the cost of doing business. They’re ostensibly (per the business model) making money if they’re sold out, and they’ve already factored in the rooms they need for staff (might be inferior/inconvenient rooms that the hotel would only assign to paying guests if that’s all they have available)
