Hence my question, is there toeles that justifies it?

A. To avoid going to his future programs. Turns out that he advertised in 2020 and stiffed us despite repeated attempts to collect. We caught that in 2021 and turned him down. But he changed the program name and email, so we didn't catch that this time.

B. To be aware of how sophisticated a phishing attack can be.

C. For people to have an avenue to get their money back, initially by trying via beis din or by getting a heter arkaos. After all, some may have signed up via his DD ad and I do feel awful about that, though he advertised pretty much everywhere this year.
I still don't think it's that appropriate. But since you advertised it on the site I can hear why you would want to post about it. It becomes a fine line of not wanting people to discredit your site and you wanting to sort of apologize to any people that signed up due to your ad.

For the record there is absolutely no fault at all with you advertising his program. And it doesn't require any sort of apology whatsoever to anybody. But I can still understand the guilty feeling.

Still not understanding why its still up. Almost gives it an air of legitimacy (if there is any left to be had) but perhaps some elderly person googles and see oh dan spoke about it blah blah. And books his next years program.

Either way, no money was actually sent.
I agree with every everything besides for this. I believe that the entire program was a flop to begin with. He didn't get enough customers, hence not being able to order food. I also believe he did get scammed and sent a small payment (under $100k) to the scammers, and took that opportunity to cancel his failed program.

Does the evidence show clearly that no money was sent to phishers? I found plenty of things HG had mentioned that could not comprehend an average human beings mind, but I haven't heard blatant lies yet. This would show otherwise.

DDMS is a high-class site. There is a reason why it is universally respected, and its reporting is seen as extremely credible. Wading into the specifics of this story will lower that standard IMO. I think that a warning to do due diligence is a great idea. But to get into the nitty gritty of the details of the transactions is something that should be left for others

That's my feelings.

Strongly supports my hypothesis? Yes.
Proves? How can you prove that something never happened?

He took the opportunity or that sealed his fate? Also you would assume they didn't clear out his account - why hasnt he given any money back?

Took the opportunity to blame his mess on someone else. You can see he does that plenty during the show. It could be he's sitting on money now, or maybe most went to the hotel.

Simple question:

When presented with evidence that someone impersonated *them* and diverted *their funds*, the Claridge - instead of spareheading the subsequent investigation - sent HG on his way?

Have a great day.
Why would they? They don't care what story you have, you need to pay up.

@Dan I can help with some wiring verification tips, although it all comes down to the basics which should be well known anyways. But, can always be reinforced. Can also provide anecdotes and things to look out for.

That's self explanatory. When your company is being impersonated and your finds are being diverted, you're all in on the investigation. You're not dismissive.
