I can't post everything, I have to maintain my kuved as the Chief Rabbi, I hope you understand and that it's not against the forum rules.
It's totally fine as the forum rules have an exception for Chief Rabbi's
Jews ≠ Zionists
Palestinians ≠ Hamas
Satmar ≠ SatmarHQ

And while on the topic, maybe it's time for the mods to rename this thread to "HG (תשפ"ג) discussion" and create a separate new MASTER thread.

And then people wonder why we are still in golus. Such disrespect to a Chief Rabbi! Echoes the last Blatt of Sotah that was learned today.

And while on the topic, maybe it's time for the mods to move the entire HG (תשפ"ג) discussion to a separate thread and just provide a link to it in this MASTER thread.
Every year there's a program or 3 that fails spectacularly in the days before Pesach. Why not keep it all together?

Wouldn't it make sense to have each of them in a separate thread with links in this thread (in Wiki) and leave this thread for more generalized discussion?

(Alternatively make a separate thread for Pesach programs pre-pesach blow-up, with an index in the wiki to where (as in which post) each one starts.

NY can’t have a chief rabbi for these reasons as well.

If only Israelis would know something about typography and leave some margins, it would be easier to read.

If anyone has the followup article kindly post.

I was talking to someone recently who runs one of the biggest Pesach programs out there (1500+ people), I figured I'll share some of the things he told me.

He budgets $200-250k per year for hotel damages. Every couch in the lobby is broken, every wall is splattered in wine, every carpet is stained, and every pool has poop in it. People's attitude is "I'm paying for this vacation, why should I clean up after my kid? So he pooped in the pool. Not my problem".

He also says that the business is becoming more and more unsustainable. People pay for lower or middle-end programs but expect the food and service of the highest-end programs, just like they saw on such-and-such influencer's Instagram. Social media has created a culture of entitlement that drives the cost up for everyone. He runs a middle-to-high level program but needs to charge high-end prices to meet expectations; all levels of programs (besides for the very lowest as far as I know) are getting more and more expensive so people can post pictures on their status and stories to one-up their peers. He says that the amount of food that gets photographed and thrown in the trash right after is mind-boggling.

And not a surprise for a person who has never been to one either.
