I don't have an iPhone now but if I remember correctly  when you click on the blue hotspot showing how many devices are connected it should show you the names of their devices.

says how many devides are connected. but if u think someone is on who shouldnt be just change the hotspot password

Just tested on my iPhone. It does not say who’s connected, just how many are connected (even with multiple devices connected).

Ehh, why should I care what the device name is of who’s connected? The only people that can connect are ones that have my hotspot password..
