Does anyone have any flavor of these? Are they worth it? The reviews on amz are not the greatest most are complaining about lag time due to insufficient wifi.

Also, I would need to use the battery because I don't have a hard wired bell, so can anyone comment on the usage like that? How long between charges etc.. thanks

lag time is a very real problem, I'd only get the Elite version which is PoE wired eliminating the lag issue

It's not necessary to buy these, you can choose to buy a wireless camera, and it has the most similar function with the ring doors.
I think a wireless camera is more useful for your home.

I'd assume from you're comment that nest never came out with a chime via wifi? And the nest needs to be hard wired I take it?
