Yes. Indeed. That's so strange. Now a 10 minute phone call is $1. Getting costly.

Yes, I also noticed and shocked when google announced the cost of this call is 10 cents per minute.   locaphone.com also went up from $ 0.035  to $ 0.08

time to switch to VoIP....

Get your contacts in Israel to use Whatsapp, Viber, or Skype -- so you can use those VoIP apps to call for free.

If you have workers in Israel, get them SIP phones or SIP clients on their phones/computers and connect them to an Asterisk server. (You can spin off an asterisk server on the cloud for $5/month) , and then each SIP client will become an extension you can dial.

This seems to be across the board. I guess this is a way for the Israeli mobile providers to generate additional revenue given the fierce local price competition.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Yup, I been looking at all the wholesale providers, and rates went up by every single one.  The calling card posted before, sounds like they didn't update their rates yet, as $ 0.035 is below wholesale - unless they are doing a NON- CLI/grey route.

As noted it is really 8cents, they just didn't update site yet. How about call centric?

Can’t believe this company is still in business, I didn’t realize there’s still a market for phone cards.

I'm a customer because Whatsapp doesn't always work great and if they have a kosher phone.

Is there now a cheap way to call a cell phone?

Not sure how many minutes you use a month but in my Verizon postpaid account there's an option of calling to Israel landline and mobile unlimited for $15 a month per line

My parents tell me that Optimum told their customers that they can now (sounds like temporarily) call IL for free.
