Chase Private Client question (appears in "Your Offers")
« on: February 07, 2018, 06:03:07 AM »
Hi,

Upon logging into my Chase card accounts, I noticed that in the "Your Offers" section it had "Upgrade to Chase Private Client" listed with the green check mark.

I don't have a bank account with Chase (never have) or the minimum deposit requirement, however, does the fact that this appears in my offers with the check mark mean I would be eligible to sign up without the usual requirements?

Thanks!

You probably got that being a csr card holder. If you read the t&c it says you need have $250k.... It doesn't mean a pre-approval.

They offer it to folks sometimes even without 250k IME. Those they see may be a long term high investment client in the future as far as I was told. Though I don't know  how they go about deciding that exactly.

I do have a CSR, as you mentioned.  Is there any good reason to pursue CPC (assuming they waive the minimum for whatever reason)?  Is that special JPM card still attainable?

AFAIK there is no downside to being a CPC and it may come in useful in the future.

I got a few offers for CPC (mail, email, online). When I was opening a new checking account, I brought in a mailed offer.. and was told it's worth nothing ("It's being sent to far too many people IMO"- banker)

At this point the most valuable perk of cpc is higher qp and mobile deposit limits,  and free non chase atm withdrawls.
