Amazon will begin offering 2 hour delivery from whole foods for prime members and 1 hour for $7.99.

Two-hour delivery will be free and a one-hour option costs $7.99 on orders of $35 or more.
The service will be available daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Can you imagine having a Shabbos without going grocery shopping it's not going to be the same Shabbos!?!
It's not the same having Amazon deliver your Shabbos Delicacies versus shopping in the grocery for Shabbos kodesh.

Honestly everyone knew amazon was planning something with when they purchased whole foods. It was either this or turning them into amazongo stores. There was no way amazon was going to buy whole foods and let it remain in its throwback 20th century state.

Don't see the big deal, groceries in Boro Park are doing this for ages already. I'm sure other neighborhoods have the same thing.

They are for sure going to set a maximum distance from stores like within 2 miles or something how else are they gonna be able to deliver within the timeframe?

here is the official press release and it doesn't say anything about distance limit it just says a list of cities that it's available in so if you live in these cities then you should be able to take advantage. BTW it started today.
