SPG - Starwood Preferred Guest Program
« on: February 08, 2018, 04:17:48 PM »
Couldn't find a thread which looked like it fit the title.

Amazing Numbers I just heard from a SPG Phone Agent
that all Platinum Liaison's and Ambassadors are told about their clients.

SPG Platinum 50 and above  = 3% of their customers = 63% of their sales

..........

With those numbers it makes sense Marriott is treading so carefully with the program not to destroy it yet.....

I'm calling bs on this. 63% of their sales would mean that on average 63% of any hotels guests any day are platinum 50s and above.

Agreed. How are they giving upgrades to random members, without even requesting, who's using the lower rooms?

This is incorrect. Perhaps 63% of their point balance, but not sales.

Okay so 50%?
Anyways why would you assume platinum members pay more on average for a room than others?

That’s what she said call your local ambassador or platinum liaison to verify the number
