MIA, was very easy today, pulled up to curbside check in, family was getting out of the car while I was handing over my luggage to the agent and I drove from there to car rental return.
I find it highly doubtful that the return guy at the MIA or FLL car return centers would be permitted to just leave their posts and drive a customer to the terminal, unless that’s a specific benefit provided by a black Card or Chairman which I guess is an elevated points status.
For FFL, there is no need. The rental center is in the airport
Am I the only one who loves hertz? they send you a carfirmation, just hop into your car and leave.
we usually just manage to schlep all the kids and luggage into the shuttle to the car rental locationAm I so unusual?
No! They are horrendous, often don't even get a carfimation, sometimes it's for a car that's not there.
Never had a issue with them, not to trying to promote them or anything, but was always satisfied with the fast pick up and drop off service.
I believe he's referring to the Centurion card. It gives you Hertz platinum, which basically means when you need something, they're at your service. In DFW Hertz drove me back to the terminal after returning. I'm PC, but don't think the random car parker guy knew that. He offered, I did not request.
Depends how many kids and how much luggage.
And, how did you get from there back to the terminal?
I once did that and was forced to pay for a car seat. I could have purchased one in town for half the price. (and I had one free at the place I was staying). Had I not come with my family to the rental, I could have saved $60
Doesn't United Club card give you this status too?
Not anymore. Now it's even better. Pick any car from your designated area, hop in and drive away.
