Not fee free. Still 1.2%.

However, I just went to my local TRU. They have removed all the GCs and mgr said they are now prohibited from selling any GCs.

WOW...thats awful. Was planning on going to buy a couple thousand GoC

Did you or anyone else try another location?

Perhaps it was not a profitable enterprise for TRU, which is why BB isn’t interested.

I often wonder how much the store makes on a GC. What fraction of the $5.95 fee do they keep? Seems like a pretty thin margin, barely 1%.

I’m sure Toys R Us was a big source of there revenue. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be trying hard to roll it out in other retailers now that they are gone
