ask those who are opposing the Stop School Violence Act. Even those discussing arming teachers are being very specific that the armed teachers would need to undergo training. Who is for arming untrained teachers? It only stopped when the resource officer arrived. Whether he was shot by the resource officer or shot himself upon his arrival is irrelevant.

How does this fit the narrative? This was a 17 year old who was too young to buy under current law who was using a handgun and was stopped by someone armed on campus. What part of that would tell us anything about the ideas they are proposing?

The lack of an AR is not the reason for 0 casualties, the reason for 0 casualties is the good gun that stopped the bad gun. We should be encouraging more good guns, not less.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I would love to do whatever we can to stop that from happening, but making laws that make us feel like we are doing something, without looking into what will actually be the outcome of these laws will not solve any problems, it will only make them worse.
