When you say you want to "limit guns" just because there are too many guns, that insinuates that your ideal end result would be to get rid of all guns i.e. confiscation.

When you have a specific issue that you would like to resolve by creating a restriction, we can discuss should we create that restriction based on if it will solve the intended issue, if it will create a new issue,if there is a better option, and if it will be taking away people's liberty or rights.

When you say "we have too many guns so we need restrictions" then your restrictions are not solve the issue, rather an attempt to stop law abiding people from owning guns AKA repealing 2A.

So the issue is the legal guns making their way into the hands of criminals? Why come up with a solution that won't be very helpful unless you make it extremely difficult to obtain a gun (even that only seemed to make things worse in most cities that tried it) and taking away the rights of law abiding citizens (or basically repeal 2A), instead we should try to find a solution to the issue of legal guns becoming illegal guns.

When a child gets hold of his parents gun and kills himself their is no bad guy with a gun involved. There is no illegal gun involved.

The number of guns is not the issue, a properly handled gun will not go out on its own to shoot people, so why take guns away from law abiding, responsible people if they're not the issue?

I don't think that's fair, when you say something idiotic, I don't just say "you're making idiotic statements" I discuss it, I think it's only fair that I should get the same courtesy instead of the personal attacks that you've used hundreds of times in this thread when you don't have a good answer to a good question.
