I agree with him that we can't arbitrarily take away peoples rights without due process. Do you disagree with that or do you believe the law did not do that?

The #1 common denominator is mass shootings is a GUN. So lets not address the GUN problem but instead just spew nonsense.

so lets say youre in a non gun free zone and some maniac walks in with a AR15  and you stop him before he kills 17  people ...
he still killed a lot more than he could have  had the assault rifle been illegal . which is why assault weapons need to be banned .

San Bernadino - I forgot to say that although it's technically not a gun free zone, it's impossible to get a carry permit there.
 Washington Navy Yard & Fort Hood - all bases are gun free zones.
 Aurora - The theater decided to make it a gun free zone.

1 - The context of this thread is "mass" shootings. So if I understand you correctly, you do consider it a school shooting?
2 - If the numbers were the same (deaths every year caused by guns) absolutely it would be a gun issue. That does not mean there are not other issues involved just like now.

I started the thread and I decide the context that matters. 
For the drive by, no. I 100% consider a individual who commits suicide in a school a school shooting.

Let's look at the issue, and find the best possible solution(s) not jump to what feels good - "banning bad guns". If I felt that banning the bad guns would actually fix the problem, we would be having a very different conversation.
