  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

How's that for contrast lol?

It's like when I take the RoissyBus to the Park Hyatt Paris.

For me: I was staying at the Park Hyatt Melbourne in a $2k+/night ambassador suite and I left to do laundry at a coin laundry mat 10min away. I said at the time it's probably the first ever Uber from that room to that laundromat.

My father was doing hashgacha in Mauritius and was put up in one of the fanciest hotels there. So he's sitting in his 5 star room about to make himself a tuna sandwich when he realizes he doesn't have a can opener. He calls in a request and two minutes later there is a white-gloved guy at his door with a massive, ornate golden tray with a stupid can opener lying in the center.

Most of mine center around public transit to/from luxury hotels. WAJ, PHP, and WA Cabo all come to mind. Shame there's not a public ferry that serves SR MLE.
Risk is opportunity

Getting off last from an LO 737 via the rear door after travelling in J, to be picked up by the Mercedes in FRA.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

I was staying in an Anatara resort near chiang rai in Thailand and didn’t want to pay for a taxi to town. The hotel workers helped me hitchhike a ride in the back of a pickup truck. They all thought it was the most absurd thing. I guess most people opt for a taxi lol
