We stayed in Willshire Grand Hotel in West Orange NJ, its a beautifull hotel. and the chabad shul is right across the street, they have nice suites, its very clean, and if we checked out on Motzai Shabbos they charged us only another 20$ for late check out.

I have been to both they are pretty decent the Westin Morristown has some nice suites I got the presidential suite so it worked out well this way we had a Dining Room table to make the Shabbos meals, The Sheraton Parsipanny from all the times that I have been there have had many more frum Jews and therefore there were minyanim

Is this posting for the nicest hotel in NY area? Or specifically a Starwood property?

Stamford,Ct the Agudath Shalom is a mile walk up hill, the only prblem is its more like a Young Israel probably less Religious. Theres a lso a YI (small one) a few blocks from the AS

Now some people like the place others hate it. also it leaves *W on 7/9

But except for Manhatten I cant think of any other place, except you can call Edison and ask if they have a Jewish Group that weekend, if they say yes then you will know you will have a Minyan, alittle too far from the Religious area in Edison to walk on Shabbos.

wait 1 other Society Hill in Philly, not too long of a walk from that Historic Syn but its Sefardi if thats OK. All in the main Historical area of Old Philly , Independce Hall etc Mikveh Israel is the name of the Temple, Id call 1st to make sure it will meet your needs

Thanks for the info Steve, I will look into these.
2 other ideas that I found were the Westin in Morristown, I am not sure how far exactly it is from Chabad or any other shuls but there should be something there- if anyone is familiar let me know.
Also the Sheraton Eatontown seems to be a 20 minute walk from a Sephardi Shul, maybe others?

I'm sure there are plenty of *W hotels in NY metro that are within walking distance of a shul.

The brand new W Hoboken seems to be a half mile from a chabad house.

The point is to get away for a mini vacation for the weekend so sticking around NYC doesnt do much. Ideally it would be a hotel a little bit away from it all with some area attractions or activities (dont need anything major)

Anyone ever stay in the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick? Will they give a Kosher breakfast amenity for a diamond member?

Im looking to go away for a weekend with my wife somewhere driving distance from nyc. Something nice and relaxing, would be nice if it was a pool/beach type of place. anywhere up to 4-5 hour drive is ok, less better but not to close to nyc.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Thanks!
