Need Help: Booking Delta through KAL for LAX to HNL

It's 40K Delta miles for r/t LAX to HNL but only 25K KAL Skypass & it's on Delta Metal.
I moved 125K miles to KAL just for those but, I can't find any available seats now through JAN 2019!

What's the secret to find those elusive award seats on Delta metal through KAL?
Anyone?

Seems like lowest is 60K Delta during summer r/t LAX to HNL.
I'll have to check w/KAL to see what that translates in.
I have 125K KAL & need to take all 5 of us over....
When you coming to LA again?

It doesn't work like that- you need to have saver available on Delta.com or else KAL can't book it at all, for any price, unfortunately. In general it's a good idea not to transfer points to an airline until you confirm saver space is available with the airline your flying and then checking with the airline you're booking with that they can see the space to book.

in this case, and all delta cases, delta DOES NOT provide what level saver info is so your best bet is to look on (or call) KAL first and make sure there is availability. alternatively, you can check other skyteam members websites like AF flying blue and if they show it, it is almost certain to be available on KAL as well
