+1. I'd be surprised if this kid and his classmates were all on social media at 11. And if they were, whatever part it may have contributed to this tragedy is definitely on all of the parents - no matter how hard one might think keeping them away from it is.

regardless of the circumstances if he was bullied or if he was doing the bullying, did the school actually send him home in the middle of the day without an adult either walking/driving him home, or called to the office with a parent first to discuss the situation?

I remember hearing about people who passed in my community and only in my adult years did I found out they committed suicide. And my parents both have stories from when they were younger of people in their hometowns who had committed suicide but it wasn't spoken about openly at all.

I recently found out why so many people died from an
aneurysm when I was young. I was actually scared to shower and sleep for a few days after each story. I found out all these stories were actually suicide.

Two people in my neighborhood recently committed suicide. One was public knowledge. The other was a "car accident" that supposedly happened elsewhere.

This particular case, the boy had social media... I'm not saying it was a factor, but you can see more inside his life and the direction he was going in  by looking at his posts.
