Transcon Business and First Class products
« on: February 25, 2018, 06:26:24 AM »
I’m thinking of booking a premium NYC-LAX reservation.

Last time I flew premium, it was United p.s. which was very decent, but by no means outstanding. There is availability on American for my dates, but I’d like to know if anyone here has more information or recommendations.

TIA.

I’ve done UA j and AA j & F several times. If you get the bulkhead in either one of the J cabins it’s quite comfortable only slightly less so then AA F. I never did B6 before so I can’t compare to that.

b6 is great. suite is  a little claustrophobic. bed is low to the ground. best ksml though. i am flying mint to sfo this weekend and return aa in business. i have also flown aa business and first. only upside of f is a single seat and direct aisle access. and if you care about the amenities, maybe the bag is a little more expensive but nothing to write home about. also, aa planes board very quick. 15-20 or so. only 100 pax per aircraft of which 30 are either j or f  jfk/lax.

Thanks everyone. B6 mileage rates not worthwhile, though.

Seeing as they are a rev based program, that would make sense.
Even on the cheapest B6 Mint prices (Saturday generally), it’s still almost the same price as AA F.
