I make new so that I don't have to worry about not adding am offer to one card and messing up
That's a good reason, the only thing I find annoying is having to login into each and every account with its personal login username and passcode.

There's so many great offers out there which come and go, if your not prepared with you army of cards there's no way to tackle the offers.
(The amazon offer for a new prime membership , I just wish I had a few cards which I could have saved it to which would gotten me 5K MR for each card I had.)
Would you know if I can add greens AU to my Amex personal gold card? I have 5 not willing to pay 35$ for additional if I can add for free greens?
Thanks

With your SSN and DOB?
Your SSN and DOB is never needed when adding the users over the phone all you need is the name you want on the card, (you get in the mail letters every few weeks a reminder to update the cards with a SSN and DOB.

Yup. If not then eventually they close them.

They are in your name too? And they don't get reported?

I have 24 hours to decide what to do with my personal Platinum card, that I have for a number of years. Have they agreed to lower the fee for anyone here, when speaking to retention?

I can't justify paying $550 for it at this point. What are my best options to do with the card? I obviously don't want to lose my points.

1-Which card is the best to downgrade to (without a new credit pull) ?

2- Is there precedence for them agreeing to lower the fee for this year?

3- Once I close the card, will I ever be able to get a plat card with the bonus again? I probably opened this card 4-5 years ago.)

4- What approach should I take with them on the phone?

Thanks for any suggestions. I have less then 24 hours to decide, where I'm still eligible to get my fee refunded.
If you had the card for that many yrs as mentioned then I would definitely play a bit of Huca speaking to supervisors hoping then can offer you a decent bonus as an incentive to keep the card, mention that your a user for x amount of years.. good luck.

And regarding your Q about getting the offer again, a friend of mine had the amex Plat business and the golds personal and business, he closed all 3 a while ago and just in the past 2 weeks he was targeted in his amex login for a 50k for spending 2k on his personal gold and today he was targeted 75k for his business gold after 5k spent, these offers are no lang which allows you to get them again.
(Doc wrote up a bit about this in the past week or two which I remember reading.)

IINM I remember reading that the more cards in your name under your login(meaning not 5-10 cards) more like 20-30 plus cards your requesting red flags, as they say PGFHGS.

But then again I know a friend of mine who has 99+ AU'S. (Wack JOB) I think he needs a JOB. ;)

What about Green? If they convert me to green there won't be an annual fee for the next year?
Do I stay with my card number, or do I get a new one? (Regardless, its not called a pull?)

You'll have to pay the AF, it's just less than the PRG,
Card number will be the same.
No pull.
