It was treated as a separate card IME. Opened regular Plat first, which was open at the time I signed up for this.

The language switched back, BUT when they switch the MB to a regular Plat, if you never got the bonus, you'll lose out then, if you keep it open, and never had a Plat.

I'm referring to after the lifetime was in place, at least the ones I did for my wife. I don't remember the verbiage of the terms back then. Are you saying it switched again after the LT ban went into affect?

Just now, the MB had a funny language that implied it was the same as the normal Plat, which I mentioned as a concern upthread. Now the language is back to normal, pretty clear they are separate products

has the loshon of "Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have or have had this product." I assume that means if I have has a platinum card i am not eligible or does it mean the MB platinum card?
