Well it's changed by over 30 years just during the time that I remember.
I remember when they said it was 5,745 years old. Now they're saying 5,778.

Does Judaism say how old the earth is?

IIRC, Rabbi Akiva Tatz says that while it's not one of the 13 essential beliefs of Judaism (including the debate of how long creation itself took), he says 5778 can reconcile with science.
