Then you're correct. It's just the restaurants and casinos.
And the major attraction that each casino has/ mall.

Went a few years ago in July. It was hot. Did a portion of Grand Canyon and it was 113 degrees. Drink a lot. But it was great. Nights are nice.

Just came back from Vegas (again). I don't have patience to write up a trip report and honestly there are so many that it would be pointless. There are a few things that are worth noting:

This is the second time we booked through Amex FHR to stay on the strip. The first time we stayed at the Four Seasons which I thought was nice but underwhelming. We were able to use the free breakfast credit to get in room dining with catering by Rafi. It was a Sunday morning and it tasted like the bagel/lox was packaged on Friday. It was a real treat to be able to experience kosher in room dining but the food was lacking. The Four Seasons is just a handful of floors in Mandalay so it really didn't speak well for other Four Seasons I've seen.

This time we stayed at the Pallazzo. FHR provides an "upgrade" and late checkout (4 pm) plus free breakfast and $100 spa credit. Normally an upgrade at strip hotels from what I've experienced and researched is just a better view. This time (in part because my wife is expecting) we were able to get an upgrade to the Lago suite which is about 2,000 sq ft, and among other things had a baby grand piano and a private movie theater with a karaoke machine. https://www.palazzo.com/suites/lago.html

The $100 spa credit was nice because there was a promotion to get $50 off a massage if you're scheduled to start by 11 am making a $175 massage just $25 out of pocket before tax/tip/etc. The promos aren't supposed to be combined with the FHR but like all things YMMV.

But why I'm posting is that there is a Coffee Bean right by the suite elevators (which probably isn't news to many of you) which is a great kosher option. I tried to arrange in suite dining again this trip which fell through. I was told though that you can get $65 worth of Coffee Bean as a kosher option if it is billed to the room. I think this is phenomenal because although this Coffee Bean is very pricey with Smart Water going for ~$7 and Coke for ~$4, $65 a day can still go quite a ways.

So in summation $169 (before tax and resort fees) gets $100 spa credit, $65 coffee bean and a ~2,000 sq foot suite. Not too shabby.

What's the closest kosher breakfast place to the Aria?
Any ideas how to use my FHR free breakfasts credits for full kosher breakfast while at Aria Sky suite, or just waste it on the few Kosher items at the hotel restaurant?

Anise
Does Anise serve steak too?

Is there a nicer/better steakhouse in Vegas?

For a good steak, am I better in Anise or Jerusalem or a third option?

Anyone reserve at the Encore Las Vegas using the Chase Reserve - Luxury Hotel option? Do the breakfast credits work for kosher food options? Are the prices quoted inclusive of tax? Thanks!

I went to Vegas as part of an RV trip about a year ago. Never wrote a TR, but better late than never to at least write down whatever I recall about the Vegas part of the trip.
I'm no experienced writer of TR's so please forgive me if my writing is not up to par, I'll do my best.

We were exploring National Parks in AZ and UT with an RV (thanks to @whYME for the RV deal).
There's no question that the most convenient and closest city to spend Shabbos if you want a minyan etc nearest to the absolutely spectacular (words cannot describe) national parks in that southwest region, Las Vegas is the only place that makes sense to go.

We stayed in one of the Chabad Suites in the central Chabad House in Vegas (Sheldon Adelson Building FWIW ;) .
Word is that they get booked very early, but bH they were available even though we booked last minute.
The convenience of being on the premises of a shul (and mikve etc) for Shabbos without the complexities of Shabbos at a hotel stuck with a baby far outweighed the amenities offered at a standard hotel. Especially considering $100 for the whole Shabbos is reasonable.
They let us park the RV in the back (though there is a huge parking lot in front), but was much more convenient near our room.
The rooms are huge, like weirdly huge, with unusually tall ceilings. It definitely was converted to be rooms and wasn't originally built as such.
But the beds were fine and that's what really matters. We requested a crib/pack'n play which they said they will arrange, but they never did. That's pretty much the only sour point.
It was very upsetting, but they don't seem to appreciate very young humans staying in their suites (my guess is that merchants attending shows in Vegas are their target clients).
This is one big room (perhaps it was a classroom at one point) but it includes a kitchen with microwave and I don't recall what else.
The kitchen didn't seem very well maintained but I didn't really care since I wasn't using it that heavily. Not surprisingly, the bathroom is huge as well (lol).
Was nice of them to have Shabbos candles in the room (another reason its better than staying at a hotel).

We ordered Shabbo food from Rafi's catering, which we later realized is interestingly actually cooked in the Chabad House kitchen FWIW.
Not sure why they never delivered the food (although I thought that's the whole point of their packages), but luckily they're located in the building so we were able to pick it up.
We did arrive quite close to Shabbos, so its good we happened to randomly choose them although we had no idea they're located in the same building
The food was warm and very fresh. Portions were quite generous and I highly recommend them, but with one caveat. You have to really enjoy Moroccan/Sephardic type spicy cooking.
When I originally saw their Shabbos menu it seems quite standard. Unfortunately nearly all the salads were inedible for me or my DW as it was way too Morrocan for our taste.
If you're like me and enjoy the classic Shabbos table foods served in Ashkenazic households, try somewhere else.
Fortunately there are many restaurants that offer Shabbos packages. I was actually quite amazed at the variety of packages, and also the very reasonable prices.

I should mention, we were invited (I assume all visitors are) to join for the Kiddush after Shacharis.
My take: Don't rely on this food for your meal, buy beforehand. 'Nuf said.

Sunday morning we met friends and went out to eat. At first we were going to go into Shwarma Vegas, but I was treated quite nastily so I left and we went to the neighboring Panini Cafe instead.
I don't recall everything I ordered, but IIRC overall their dishes other than pizza were very good. One thing I remember clearly: their Limonana drink was fantastic!

I find it amazing how Vegas has so many Kosher restaurants. Only problem is that they're nearly all middle-eastern style food (I leave you to guess why).
Didn't have a chance to check out any other restaurants, but was very impressed with the kosher Pas Yisrael bakery selection at Smiths. So if you want to buy some fresh baked goods while you're in Vegas, this is probably the place to go.

btw most of the restaurants in vegas have certificates for the kashrus that are expired.
this is because they dont pay the fees to the kashrus company, yet the rabbis still eat there.

i guess the place did something really wrong to go out of the way and say its no good

Actually. Wasn't impressed this time. Usually the food is amazing. This time it was mediocre at best.
Had I known, I would have definitely tried the cheeseburger :-)
