35 minute walk from the SLS which is very nice.

Thanks.  I'll look into it but now I'm thinking of maybe the Venetian or the Wynn.

I've been to the Venetian a couple of times and have been very happy.

Thanks.  I looked into the La Quinta and was not impressed from reading the reviews.  I also called Chabad but was told they usually do not allow young children at their hospitality suites (due to some bad experiences in the past) and I have to call back next week to see what the rabbi says.

If we don't stay near Chabad for shabbos, what would be some of the nicest hotel options in vegas that are either bookable with points or can be had with deals?

TIA

Venetian can be booked with ihg points but the value depends on the season / price .

Might be in Vegas in Jan from sun-wed with wife and infant

looking for some nice hotel recommendations AWAY from the main strip; preferably next to shuls and restaurants.  I have starwood, IHG, and marriot points.  Should I be looking at Henderson, NV as well etc......

not sure about points but we had a nice time at the Palms Place (it's one of the 3 Palms hotels). it's off the strip and a 2 minute walk to Jerusalem and Nina's Cafe.
sorry i can't be more help.

IIRC. we weren't there over Shabbos and didn't use one. we found a local couple at Panini and had a long shmooze with them. they mentioned the jewish community and implied that it's all together

Not an easy feat... Even with all the ventilation it's still bothering her?
