I doubt there is a real answer
I would have taken aria as its the newest & I think classiest
Bellagio is probably the most glitzy of the 4. Wynn & encore took the middle road.
Aria & Bellagio are in center of the strip.
Between wynn & encore the encore is a little newer but consider like they're 2 towers of the same hotel. Encore is the newer tower

Not sure what your friend is referring to. Do research about a specific place though. "Off the strip" is a huge area

No and there is a lot of crime on the strip.
"LESS IS MORE" It is the cumulative effect that kills deals!!! How many times do I have to say this?  >:(

It's like saying there is an issue with crime in NYC and not to stay in downtown.

its usually not worth it to use points in vegas as the paid rates are cheap

You could always use CSR points for hotel rooms. But 4 star hotel should be less than 100 a night most times.

Depends what you are planning to do there.  In general, 7 month olds are easier to travel with than, say, 2 year olds.  They sit in stroller while you do stuff.  What exactly are your concerns?

i think you mean 5 star hotels should be less than $100 a night most time.
i just booked encore and got it for $105 plus tax for july 4th weekend.

there are ways to get specific 5 star hotels for half price of the listing price, including the cosmopolitan, aria, encore, wynn, trump, and many others

Thank you, so let's say I'm paying, where are the best suites? It's only two nights and our first getaway in a long time! Don't care for casinos, so its more about the food and relaxing. What would you advise? Thanks!

Where are you coming from? If you care about food and relaxing, go to LA or Miami Beach. Both have better food, beaches, and are overall nicer places. I guess if you're from LA and looking for somewhere close by, Vegas makes sense, but otherwise wouldn't think its the best place if you wouldn't go to casinos anyway.
