Hey,

i'm stopping over in vegas for 3 days/ 2 nights on 4/3-4/5 with my wife. i'm thinking i should stay somewhere on the strip i know rooms are generally cheap in vegas but i also dont want to get stuck in a place where we'll regret. i found they have the luxor for about $45 a night.

Also is renting a car a good idea? or is everything walking distance? and i'm assuming its crazy to park and drive over there

Any help or tips are greatly appreciated!!  and if anyone has suggestions for a good magic or comedy shows please let us know!

You definitely need a car (the decent kosher eateries are all a 20 minute drive away), lucky for you parking (even valet parking) is easy and free everywhere because the casinos all you want to spend your money gambling there!
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I've heard some bad things about the Luxor, but you never really know. See if you can get a good rate at Bally's. They are right in the middle of the strip and not overpriced. If you want a nicer stay for a little more, I always like the Venetian/Palazzo or Wynn/Encore.

you can try priceline, name your own price. We got the Aria for about $89 a night. just put in 5 star hotel. Aria is a stunning modern hotel with amazing architecture.

Sure, but those "2 blocks" to get from the Encore (which is an incredible hotel btw) to the MGM are well over 2 miles of hard walking up and down staircases and other obstacles.

Anyone been at the Aria lately? I just read some nasty reviews and curious if anyone has any experiences good/bad there.
I may cancel my reservation based on these reviews.

It's a nice 5* hotel. If the price is $100 or less you got a good deal. No reason to change.

NEED HELP CHOOSING A HOTEL IN VEGAS:
I plan on spending my entire time at the SPA & POOL. Of course I want a nice room/suite with large king bed.
Traveling with my wife.
Which hotel would you recommend if those are the only three factors?
