It really depends what are looking for the nicest although with out casino is most probably the maderian oriental, the city center hotels are brand new and really cool and modern, the venetian & pallazo if you get a large suite are huge although slightly aged. the wynn and encore are relatively new hotels and probably the nicest "regular" rooms. Iv'e also stayed at The Hotel at the Mandalay Bay the suite I has was really nice. the sky lofts at the MGM Grand are supposed to be some of the top rooms, I cant confirm as I've never stayed.

So for the dates im going, i can get a Deluxe Resort King at the wynn for $681 (4 nights including all the fees) or a venetian luxury suite for $584. Would the wynn be that much more worthwhile or should i just go with the venetian and save $100?

I would just book a regular room and try the $20 trick not worth spending so much money the regular rooms are large anyhow. if you need to spend the money I would say the wynn is worth it.

Both those rooms are the lowest available on those nights. I definitly dont "need" to spend the $. Should i got for the venetian at $100 less and try the $20?

I have stayed at Venetian, Palazzo and Encore in the last 2 years. I would argue that overall, the Palazzo is the best value. The Palazzo opened only a couple years ago (stayed there the first month it was open) and is really a nice room (smallest room I believe is 720 sq. ft. and since it not that old, everything is still in pretty good shape.

Encore is slightly newer than Palazzo and the rooms are almost as big. I think that the classiness felt in Wynn/Encore together is fantastic, but remember that you're paying more and not necessarily getting much more in the way of the room.

Venetian is the oldest of the bunch but also has very large rooms (in the range of 650 sq. ft. I believe). Although the rooms are slightly worn, they are still fine, large and part of a massive complex which has lots to offer.

Overall, I think unless you are dying to stay at the Wynn you'll probably be better off saving the money on the room and using it on either the casino, a show, or something else. There is only so much time you'll end up spending in the room anyway. Also, another plus about the Venetian is that it offers 3 Coffee Beans (1 is really in Palazzo, but they are connected) and all have Kosher drinks and (I believe) kosher baked goods as well (good to have for breakfast). Also, the Venetian is a little more Strip central making it an easier walk to other hotels, etc. without having to fight the Strip traffic.

That's just my 2 cents.

You would do that at $90 over the venetian at $129?

Very hard to say I would say it depends on the weather and if your gonna spend time outside, by the pool or not. the venetian has a large mall in the hotel with the Venice canals running thru it the manadaly's attraction is their outdoor pool and the aquarium although the aquarium cost money. You can still go to the venetian even if you don't stay there.

is the palazoo just as close to the coffee beans as the venetian? I can get both for the same price...would you go with the palazoo instead?

you mentioned they are connected...so both would be pretty strip-central, right?
