What is the best mileage/points to use for a flight to Vegas? I have about 100k UA, 100K BA and about 80k UR. TIA

Depends on what ticket prices are and what the mileage rates are. I went in Feb and tickets were about 300-350 and I was able to do 2 tickets for 25K skymiles each.

BA might be able to land you on AA, but I'm not sure if NYC-LAS ever falls into the 12.5K roundtrip category.

Has anyone stayed in the Aria resort? I heard from a few people that the Venetian is the place to go, but Aria looks nice as well.

Honestly theres nothing like the mandarin, nice and quiet has no casino

IMO, the Venetian is the best place.

I am looking for a hotel in Las Vegas at the end of May 31st to Jun 2nd. I have Hyatt (640k), Hilton (300k), and Amex MR (156k) points. So which one should I use for the best value? Thank you very much!

I have searched for a hotel in Vegas. The price is so expensive. If I book for weekday, the price is only around 60$ a night (from Sunday to Thursday). However, if I book weekend, the price is around 250$ a night (from Fri to Sat). It is really expensive. I can only go for weekend only. That's why I need some help. I dont know is it wise to use Amex point to book or not? I really dont want to waste the Amex points. I think Amex points are good for flight but not sure.

I have searched a lot for the price on May 31 and Jun 1 (Friday, Saturday). Finally, I booked 2 nights at a 2-bedroom with Deluxe Strip View at Stratosphere Casino. The price is 353.09$, and the Amex point is 47079 points. Since I dont have that money so I use points to book cuz still student and will graduate this May. No money right now. I book this hotel for celebrating my graduation. I dont know it is good value or not since it is my first time to book a hotel with points.

I believe the MR points are worth more than what you would be paying. Is the $353.09 for two nights, or is it per night?

The Venetian/Palazzo has a Coffee Bean which has kosher food...

I still have more time to think before I cancel this hotel. But so far, I still like the hotel because it has a tower. I can enjoy the view of Las Vegas at that tower. If you have enough points, you can sell them to someone and make the money to pay for the room and have extra money to spend.

Selling is not allowed on DDF. Try googling it and i am sure you will find many options. Make sure to shop around for best price.
