Is it better to book to vegas through BA miles or UA miles?
Depends on availability

353.09$ for 2 night at a 2 bed room with Delux Strip View.  I know it is not worth for amex points but still dont have enough cash to pay. That's why I still booked the room. I still have more time to think before I cancel this hotel. But so far, I still like the hotel because it has a tower. I can enjoy the view of Las Vegas at that tower. It is the highest tower in Las Vegas. That is another reason why I booked that hotel.  Some people suggest Hyatt Place. I just check the Hyatt but it is a small hotel.
have you tried a weekend before or later? You might find cheaper

Has anyone stayed in the Aria resort? I heard from a few people that the Venetian is the place to go, but Aria looks nice as well.

I've stayed there twice while attending conferences there. I've never stayed anywhere else in Vegas, though, so I don't have much to compare it to. I can say that, because each floor is basically one long hallway, and there is ONE set of elevators in the center of the hotel, the rooms at the end of the hallway are FAR from the elevators. I traveled with a family member who needs a cane to walk, and she had to take breaks when we got downstairs before she could continue to the pool/buffet/etc.

The last time I was there it was a little frustrating for my companions because the buffet was closed for renovations (I wasn't affected because I keep kosher), and because the big pool was closed for the filming of Last Vegas (Morgan Freeman woke my baby as I walked her around the pool area by yelling expletives - good times). They didn't usually leave the room until close to noon (after morning nap), which was after housekeeping had passed our area. So there were also some instances where they didn't clean our room until 5pm, and one day we were actually sitting on the floor outside the room holding a VERY TIRED baby who needed to sleep 'cause housekeeping hadn't come earlier.

Y'know, I hadn't considered it a poor experience until now! ;)

ETA: All that being said, if you're interested in trying it out, apparently you can book nights using AmEx MR - 30K for king room (35K for city view), 52K for corner suite.

I've heard mixed reviews. Grap a Fodor's book or the like.  Any hotel is nice if you get a good room, but some can be plain old blah. I stayed at THEhotel and got upgraded to a suite. It was incredible.

Are there any hotels in vegas where you can get a "pimped out" suite..meaning either like a jacuzzi or plunge pool in the room/balcony? i know it wont be cheap so im willing to spend..but not an insane amount of $
or does anyone know where i can find that specification or similar? somewhere not across the world....more of a manageable flight time..
PLEASE SHARE IDEAS!! :)
