What do you like to do?

Many shows/concerts can be seen. Read a little bit back in the thread to see some ideas.

Google is your best friend. Lots of free attractions and shows, like the fountains of the bellagio, the venitian hotel and more

I stayed there in the past didn't they start charging a resort fee?
also rooms are OK nothing over the top plus it is way out not near anything.. IMHO there are better deals options in vegas.

The resort fee wasn't too much $ and we arrived in Vegas at 12am and were leaving the next morning so we ha no time on the strip anyway... What is there for the same price that's nicer?

Anyone stayed in the Monte Carlo or MGM? I debating between the two.

Or maybe other suggestions for a hotel in the $100 range with a hot tub?

Thanks

Get the MGM Grand (higher level than reg MGM).
I got a "Signature One Bedroom Balcony Suite" for just above $100 a night, there was a whole living room in addition to the bedroom, an additional bathroom with shower.
The main bathroom had a hottub big enough for mikvah before shachris!

I bought off Kayak.com and the room was called exactly as I quoted above:
"Signature One Bedroom Balcony Suite"
I tried the $20 bill trick for upgrade and, turns out, there was nothing higher to upgrade to ... GULP...
She asked me "Do you want me to break that for you?" ;)

P.S. Just be aware that MGM Grand is not on the strip, but directly connected to MGM via a passageway (5-7 min walk, that's when I'd check DDF ;D).
