Essentially slipping a 20 between your license and cc and ask for a better room. YMMV. Google it for more "in depth" information.

I mostly chickened out :o... my check in agent was being shadowed (last week of training), plus the manager was monitoring her screen. So... I asked for upgrade, but didn't give over the $. they gave us 28th floor, strip view, which they called a view upgrade. I don't know that asking did anything though, my colleague got 52nd floor without asking! Our stay is tues-Sun, she's checking out on Friday, maybe that hindered us.

That's when you let someone else go ahead of you to get another agent.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Last week we hit up Haifa, Jerusalem Grill, Panini Cafe & Sababa while we were there... I won't go back to Panini Cafe- they were rude, tried to convince us that we ordered something we didn't (ordered tuna salad sandwich, received tuna salad), and refused to remake a salad with dressing on the side for next day (We specifically stated we wanted a salad to go and packaged for the following day, they dressed it. In my opinion, they should've automatically put dressing on the side. Sababa did when I ordered a salad from them for the next day.)

My favorite was Sababa, hands down! Best food, most relaxed atmosphere (I was there at 1:30 on Friday afternoon), and most reasonable prices (Jerusalem wanted $18 for a hamburger, Sababa's was $9). It's not a waitress-restaurant (you order at counter, they bring it to you, you pay at counter). Highly recommended!!

Did it look like a nice place? Do you remember how long the drive actually is?

Always had good luck here the day before or the day of the show. Many locations on the strip.

Looking to go from NYC to LAS from Jan 7-8, I have points all over. My question is if it’s worth to use points or pay? Or are there any good deals for those dates?

Search on ITA for those dates. BA is not a bad redemption to LAS, i think it is 15K RT.
