I have a conference at the Paris hotel.  Prices are way to much, but I was told ballys is attached and has super cheap prices.  Anyone ever stay there or have any opinions about Ballys?  Or any other suggestions of pretty close hotels to Paris that have good prices?

Not to go OT,  but your destination is Vegas,  or you're just not continuing on after a stopover?

I'm going to Vegas on the Delta glitch too. staying at Aria. Booked on Hotwire with their "hot deals". $100 per night. You also get $25 off a $100+ hotel stay if you book through their app using promo code APP25

ended up finding a deal at the Mirage for $85 a night and you get two free tickets to a show (technically any of the ones hosted by an mgm property but i think it depends on when you are going).  The show tickets are bad seats but I am going to Love (the beatles cirque) and they say that high seats arent that bad for this show.  Also available was the monte carlo for about $65 a night and the other mgm properties were more.  Also, can cancel up to 48 hours before check in so if i get lucky with priceline then I will do that.

Anyone ever stayed at the Rennaisance Las Vegas Hotel or the Las Vegas Marriott (I have 2 free cat.1-5 cert. that are going to expire and I figured that it's better to get a free hotel than to have to pay for one). Are they clean, nice? Which of the 2 is better, etc.? Thanks!!

Was there last week and ate at Nina's cafe and think it should be added to the wiki. Its cholov Yisroel under chabad kashrus and right next to jerusalem grill.  My wife and I had a roll of sushi that was good but nothing special.  Then we had the eggplant parm which was fantastic and a big portion.  We also had a pizza there with artichokes and spinach that was unbelievable.  My wife felt it was the best pizza she ever had. I think the place just opened recently.  It was a great milchigs option very close to the strip and I highly recommend it.

Marriott is great, nothing to complain about. The receptionists are a bit snobby, but otherwise the hotel is great!

So the time has come to poll the forums... no one seems to be talking about getting show tickets on a discount in Las Vegas... any isights would be appreciated!

I will add them to the wiki if they are any good!

So far SPG as of now doesn't offer anything existing in terms of activities or tickets. Run of the mill kind of stuff.

Chase UR - Has some events happeneing in May, however for my dats May 5-9th they are already sold out.

Amex MR - Bunch of transfer options for gift cards...

Anything else I am missing?

Palm5 says: Uhhhh what's blackberry?

philbenjoe says: A handheld celluar device. What's your question

Any suggestions for a nicer hotel that is within walking distance to shul and food? Anything beside La Quinta?  I have meetings by the convention center but don't mind taxiing to that area for the days; I would prefer some convenience for the mornings and evenings and have no real desire to rent a car or shlep around in a taxi each time I need to eat and daven. thnx

I am currently in Las Vegas and just had to quickly write this.
DO NOT GO TO ADAR PIZZA! I am staying in the Encore and decided it wasn't worth the drive to Panini Cafe, and I now realize (after going to Panini Cafe the next day) how wrong I was.

Panini cafe is reasonably priced, clean, and good food. Adar pizza if ridiculously priced, dirty, and had spoiled tomatoes and disgusting falafel.
