The cheap bingo "hand matzos" are a real sheila if it can be considered hand matzos. The vast majority of poskim hold that it's considered plain machine matzos.

It's extremely similar to what was considered machine matzos 150 years ago, which many (most?) gedolei Ashkenaz prohibited.

The only small difference, is that those were mechanically operated, whereas these are all done by hand. It "looks" very similar but it's not.

I find Montreal matzos to be the very best.
Grew up with them and can't part.

Is this normal. Can’t find any hand Matzos in LW today. Checked FoodEx, Gourmet Glatt, Evergreen. All sold out.

Agree.

I grew up on Montreal matzoh as well, but Satmar Broadway is now my favourite. Especially the spelt matzos. YUM.

I actually like thick matzos, so I guess that's why we might differ.
