RE: Citi AAdvantage Plat World MC and Amex Delta Gold cards, does just presenting them give me access to any designated lounges in SNA, LAX, or DFW (sort of like how Lounge Club with Ink allows)?  FYI, I used BA miles on AA metal for flight this Sat to DFW from SNA and DFW to LAX on Wed.  Let me know if bringing the two cards is worth it or if I should just leave them at home.  TIA

Yes.

Here is the "Guide To Benefits". Though yesterday they made some changes to that.

Not that I'm aware of, although most CCs if you get denied will tell you your score for free! ;)

Didn't deny that,
Didn't accuse you of that, I just wanted to let avadah know that he does not need to be denied in order to obtain his score.

someone purse snatched my wifes purse today at the mall. Cops said the cameras were not able to find her in the mall that the cameras were old blah blah blah. they think the person went through it in the mall and dumped it somewhere.

Thank god the purse didnt have much in it cash wise or gift card wise. However, aside from calling credit and debit card companies and dealing with other things... would rather the snatcher just told her give me your cash and i will leave you alone...

Would any of our cards reimburse us for the stolen purse (18 months old bought on amex spg was $200 new) or sunglasses ($250 bought with either amex spg or SP about 18 months ago) or other items (makeup, wallet, car keys etc)?

Cards that we have: amex plat biz, SR, SP, Freedom, Freedom unlimited, SPG consumer, & citi AA bronze card.

Thanks.

Not sure why this was posted here, but perhaps someone should make a wiki with the info on this thread it would be very helpful for many.

This would probably need a complete restart. Many of the cards don't even exist anymore.

Can you please clarify why it shouldn't have been posted here and where it should be posted? I am asking for advise on card benefits that cover stolen items... I look forward to hearing back.

Most cards that have 'purchase protection' only cover a relatively short time - like 1-3 months.  So the things that you listed wouldn't be covered.
Sometimes your homeowner's policy covers things stolen while out of the house.
An 'umbrella' add-on to a homeowner's policy should cover it.
I wonder if a renter's policy can be designed with such coverage.
But it seems to me you're likely stuck.   :(

I recently had to refer to my credit card benefits a few times in specific situations.

Example 1: Which CC covers CDW on 15 passenger vans? (Citi Premier does)

Example 2: Which CC covers ticket price in case of carrier financial default (CSR does not, Citi Premier does)

Example 3: If medical emergency of close relative forces you to travel earlier than planned, and original ticket is non refundable, and original airline has no flight when you need to travel, resulting in your purchase of a separate ticket, returning to your point of origin before scheduled departure date of originally purchased ticket, will coverage apply. (This is WIP, will report with results once they are in).

Paging @Dan to revive this thread, and update Wiki.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Update on example 3: Citi covered anything that was non-refundable by the airline. They definitely earned my business for travel purchases.
