Chase Aer Lingus Credit Card this Spring?
« on: March 15, 2018, 06:05:57 PM »
According to Business Wire Chase plans to open yet another avios card this spring.
As per DOC the card will have the following benefits:
Card earns at the following rates:

3 Avios per $1 spent on Iberia, Aer Lingus, British Airways, LEVEL and OpenSkies

1 Avios per $1 on all other purchases

Ticket for a companion when a ticket is purchased in economy class, after $30,000 spend in a calendar year
More Like BA then IB.

Priority boarding on flights to and from the U.S.

No foreign transaction fees

Auto rental collision damage waiver

Lost luggage reimbursement

Purchase protection

$95 annual fee

It seems Chase will be taking over more of the market with them covering three avios earning cards.
The best part of this is that like the ba and Iberia cards this card will likely be excluded from 5/24.

It is definitely great to to see more high-value cards coming out for those who don't have many options available

As of now there are no details on the sign up bonus, although I'd like to assume it will be another 75k.

You do realize that most of the people here read DoC? There's really no need to make a new thread for every one of these posts.

I know I should, but I don't. How about a master thread?

A doc master thread would be too many random things put together. Maybe a credit card news master thread

Only read DoC if he posts here, or if his link is posted here or to find a better referral link for something not mentioned here. So no, I dont regularly read DoC.

Oh and to post pad... ;D

Nothing too special, but a card not subject to 5/24 is always alright.

360k Avios for 60k spend on 3 cards, over 5/24 is quite fine.
