Is this your first Chase business card? Because Chase doesn't add business card to your personal login you'd have to make a new one. You've been away from Chase for too long :)

Yup. First business card with Chase.

I assume I need to wait for the actual physical card to create the login? Or possible to to do before hand?

This is a first. I applied for Ink cash under sole proprietor, and chase held it up under the Patriot Act and said I need to provide proof of business name through IRS records, utility bills or articles of incorporation.  I have never had this happen before. Usually just use a random name as the company name and say I sell things online. Should I just be using my own name as the company name? TYVM.

You should be using your own name for safety. It seems this has been happening lately, you have to call recon and hope they ignore it. Or if it's the same day reapply with your name.
This isn't your first Chase business card?

Why not just give them what they ask for? What's the big deal?

I have another Ink and a few AMEX business cards. I applied for it last night and called the reference number this AM when they told me hold up was Patriot Act. Too late to reapply on my own name with my name as the company or call back and ask to alter app?

Because I don't have any of those documents. I sell a few things on ebay, but don't have any official sole proprietorship documents that they want.

Call back and ask for a reconsideration only if they mention that you need those docs should you ask them to alter name

I had the same issue with CIP, used my unregistered buisness name, called recon and the rep was able to change the app to my name, no issues

YMMV so don't suggest it until they aren't willing to do anything else

I already have this card using my name as the business name. How would I go about opening up another one without dealing with any documents?

I called them and took your advice. They were willing to change to my name and then I was approved.

What do you suggest? Applying with name or business name ?
As a sole proprietor it is always recommended to use your name as the business name.

Same here. Didn't even have to ask to change it to my name. After i said i file my taxes under my own name and not the business name she put me on hold and came back and said i was approved.

+1. especially with Amex, in case of an FR.

You put down the legal name of the business. The problem is when so many are pretending they have a business.

When they ask for bus name and it's not a registered official name you give them is that a legal problem? What if someone has a small side business and that's what they call it but it's not registered ?
One they pay taxes on etc.
