was wondering the same. He doesn’t seem to want to show the מראה מקום. There are thousands of teshuvos seforim so it doesn’t help to say it’s a tshuva somewhere. I can’t find the shaarei teshuva. It would help if he said which simman it was
Sorry for not being specific. I don't remember off hand. The Shaarei Teshuva mentions it where he discusss the minhag of Gebrokst. The Minchas Eluzer writers against it. There's a sefer Shulchan Melachim from a Kerirstier Chusid that refutes his proofs. It is discussed in several other seforim. If you look in Toldos Sefurim, you can see it mentioned that other gedoilim did it, too. Some did wash on Yom Tov for the seudos and ate one kezayis, some didn't eat at all until Achroin Shel Pesach.
Are you serious? What about the rest of the yom tov meals? You don't wash?
Yes. Yes.
