Play without it and you'll be amazed at how much quicker and more strategic the game is without a welfare system.
Dan maybe you should make your own version of monopoly, in which cc's are used instead of money and after each swipe you earn points which can be used to travel to different spaces on the board and stay at hotels for free
first of all teaming up is not illegal that is what we call an oligoply and after all we are playing monopoly. Secondly it really depends on who your playing with

Yes however since it is in Dicks best interest not to allow all Tom's assets to go to Harry he can offer Tom a bargain which will allow Tom to remain in the game this scenario often leads to a price war between Harry and Dick
