Beers in NY Chometz Sheavar Alav HaPesach

It has come to our attention that much of the beer sold in New York City and surrounding counties is distributed by a Jewish owned
company, creating a significant Chometz She’avar Alav haPesach issue for our communities. Due to numerous challenges, a proper sale
of Chometz is not possible. As a result, many brands of beer in NY will be Chometz She’avar Alav haPesach. The problematic stock will
not be depleted until sometime in late-May/June. Please check our website after May 15th for an update. Until that time, the beers on the
list below should be considered Chometz She’avar Alav haPesach.

If one is concerned regarding this mechira, then there are many mechiras they shouldn't be soimech on. (Possibly the C&S mentioned in the conversation. Although the Kof-K said that the whole business was sold...)

correct. There are many mechiras done this way, being soimech on a Teshiva from R' Moshe.
It's possible that they sold the business (not just the Chometz) which would be a better solution to keep operating on pesach as managers.

i'm sure one of the local groceries will be importing a truckload from out of the prob area, unless they r not allowed to- in which case i'm waiting to see who's gonna pull up w a truck of out-of-town beers in front of the local minyan factory, to make some extra $$$

IINM, most do NOT rely on C&S.

correct. There are many mechiras done this way, being soimech on a Teshiva from R' Moshe.

Isn't R' Moshe the one why was against mechira that allows them to stay open?
