Hotel Victor is pretty nice. Had a few great stays there in the past.

If you have a choice, dont stay at the Hyatt in Downtown Miami. Really pretty nasty, unless you're getting it for $50 on priceline.

If you are staying a few days I would strongly recommend coconut point. It's about 3hrs from Miami. They own a private island with a beach on it. We had a wonderful stay, all the staff wasn't the nicest

Hyatt Pier 66 gave an amazing diamond suite upgrade to my grandparents.
