If the website Policy doesn't mention it, what would happen if you showed up and had paid for a seat?

Also, with Polaris seats becoming more common in the next few years, might this become a bigger issue across United?

You'll wind up holding the infant and getting a refund.

Makes total sense. I'm sure holding the baby on your lap is infinitely safer than strapping it in an infant seat at an 18 degree angle from the aircraft centerline.

everyone here prob new this already anyway and i dont remember the airline but i was told car seat needs to be by window because in case of evacuation, it would disturb/impede. makes sense. just not sure why it was only for takeoff and landing.

Your missing the point, this has nothing to do with logic. One is not approved as per the rules the other is. No questions.

Where's the rest of the email? What did they say regarding not allowing car seats in Polaris business?

Does this mean on the 757 is fine? Anyone with experience?

Anybody have any idea what the deal is with Air China's A330-300? Any logical reason why I wouldn't be able to bring a carseat into business class, and put my baby in his own seat?
