apparently stuff like the doona and mima are prone to incite anti semitism, a family member just had their mima vandalized...

I am flying as well on spirit, but because of this story and the press I expect not to have an issue.

I read  about that story but was under the impression that they didn't buy a seat for the baby as I didn't see it mentioned  in the story that a seat was purchased...(although its possible they did). Anyways maybe its a better idea to close the wheels before boarding so it will seem like a regular carseat.
Was really just trying to find out if the Doona is too wide for the seats...

Update; I folded the doona prior to getting on the plane, when I got on the steward asked if I can take the wheels off, I told him its folded and just like a regular carseat, he didn't say anything after that. It was a very tight fit in the Spirit seats..

Anybody know what Air Canada’s “exceptions” are for flying with a carseat in business class? I reached out to them on Twitter, but did not receive a reply.

I don't think they still have exceptions in lie flat seats.

Response via Twitter:

Hello, the exceptions are for the aircraft with a Business class cabin without the executive or Classic Pods.

Flying with a doona on other airlines ( not spirit) is fine? On American Airlines for an example? Would I have any problems with that?

Virgin Atlantic claims they no longer allow any FAA approved car seats. They say you need a infant harness.

DROPR? HUCA?

Current online info page:
https://flywith.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/on-the-flight/cabin-and-seats/seats-for-children.html#seats

It does say no rear facing seats, forward facing seems fine.

Hoping DROPR (though the rep said it's a new policy because of delays after car seats were too big for economy seats and fights ensued)

Another rep said it's fine.

Anyone have experience on Virgin Atlantic? Or any UK airline? They state no rear facing car seats, if I bring my infant seat will they take it away or tell me to just face it forward? (Even though it won’t Buckle correctly?)

JetBlue mint  ticket.

Did not allow my car seat on. Baby had to be in my lap for the takeoff and landing. Was a complete disaster.

I begged them to allow the car seat on. We paid for an extra ticket. Showed them the FAA paper. Nothing helped.

What can I do? Complain to be FAA? Ask for refund?

Thanks!

Don't those seats have airbag seatbelts?
