Was able to book a few dates st sr mle but they charged me 68k per night for the overwater villa
Was that for the garden villa?
What was the cancelation policy at 68k points?
Just booked STR MLE for 6nights 420k Marriott points...!
I was just able to combine my accounts using the link 3 pages ago
https://viewfromthewing.boardingarea.com/2018/06/28/caution-marriotts-new-chart-is-good-for-top-hotels-but-not-as-good-as-you-think/I’m seeing a ton of coverage of Marriott’s new award chart lauding the top points price of the most expensive hotels. For instance, Dan’s Deals: wrote AMAZING! Marriott’s New Award Chart Is A Dream Come True For Aspirational Hotels. This is indeed good news, but it needs to be tempered.
@Dan I have to be a bit skeptical about the all suite hotel pricing. Here is the reason why: For example. Mystique is an all suite luxury collection hotel. Current pricing is 70K SPG Points. However, according to the new Marriott chart, the "current" pricing is only 90K Marriott Points - which we know is not true. It says the price will drop to 85K in 2019, however being the they are off about the current pricing leads me to believe marriott has something else up there sleeve. The same thing applies for Bora Bora and Maldives alike hotels.Let me know your thoughts
I also have a very hard time believing that hotels like the St. Regis MLE will actually be bookable at that price. At the very least they'll probably make the entire calendar peak pricing.
+1. I was surprised at the overly positive post.
Even peak would be too generous.Current pricing isnt actually bookable, so why would I believe that the future one will be?

I still dont get how to resolve the fact that the "current pricing" is not available at all for those luxury hotels.
I don't understand why you're so optimistic about this.
