Anybody else having trouble accessing their account online. I'm getting an "unprocessable error"... Was trying to book something and the agent told me I had 0 points... Good thing for screenshots and such. Anybody else with this issue?

Points Advance still doesn't work for SPG Hotels? Works for the Ritz but not SPG.

Should be Platinum. May be Platinum Elite.

5th person told me that though his supervisor won’t allow the change he advises I call the hotel directly to cancel and rebook. So I did and it worked pretty easily. I simply told them that I’ll rebook the same nights before you go ahead and cancel to ensure that I am not simply looking to cancel to waive the fee.

Use the link I posted above. That should work now if you still hold the status.

Gold is what I got. But I was under the impression that gold earned on the Marriot program will turn into platinum. Couldn’t find anything that said if it was earned by the credit it would be treated differently.

It had to be earned by stays to get platinum. If you got gold from a match you are supposed to stay at gold

For those that will be doing it this way note that the points will not be deposited back into account for possibly 7-10 days.

Marriott wasn’t clear on this (Re status earned by RC card). They were clear that spg gold earned by cc would translate to Marriott gold.

Use this link and see if it works. It can take 7-10 BD but usually takes around 4.

Link was broken earlier today, linked to a broken sign in page. Then it was updated to down until August 23. Now it says August 24.
