Nothing to worry.

I obviously would declare it. Just wanna know if it’s allowed. Heard someone’s once got confiscated or something so don’t want to risk it.

Does bingo still sell Thomy?

A few years ago I purchased about 15 Thomys at the airport and took in in my hand bag since my luggage was already checked in, and they took every last one away at security!

If they have its definitely not consistent. They may have had it once or twice in the past. 
That’s very sad...
they took it away at customs or security?

security @ZRH.. They said it's considered "liquids" and I can't take it in my hand luggage.

I had a closed chumus, they asked if its a spread, I said yes so they said spreads are like liquid and they took it away.

The TSA restriction is not just against liquids. Other countries / securities likely have similar wording.

The wording on the TSA website is:
"liquid, aerosol, gel, cream or paste"

Chumus would be considered a cream or paste.

I had a larger then 3oz deodorant (aerosol) taken away going through security in Asia (TPE IIRC).
