The Do's
Great value grill: Someone please add :)

The Dont's
Don't play with the food on the grill. Flip it once (or twice if need be), that's all.

Be careful. Once your grill gets used you can have one heck of a grease fire and destroy your grill.
I singed my face as a 10 year old (but that was leaving fires on while closing tank valve instead of closing valve then lighting new fire to burn out excess)

Please report back. I've been sitting on the fence about these for years

not bad. still learning how to use them. they keep saying how much hotter they run so i've been keeping the gas low but i think i'm being too cautious. I actually like the flat site better

Do you mean cover or lid?
Cover as I grill all year long. All the other covers would crack during the winter.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I have my e-310 for 5 years now, besides the even cooking I love the warranty. I already replaced my flavor bars twice burner tubes and grates all under warranty. ( clearly I don’t cover my bbq)

When did change the tubes?
How was the process, did they make you show proof of damage or was it just a complaint

I didn’t get the tubes yet, I had to email pictures showing the damage to the tube. As far as installation the CS rep said it’s not hard and it comes with clear instructions. (Side not I also replaced the igniter twice)

True. I’ve had one in the past my issue is I don’t want to cover it right when I shut it off Bec it’s still hot and once I go inside I never made it back out to cover it.

It seems in the long run it would be less work than replacing these parts all the time.

Of course. But I have the same situation. Even when I own a cover I never remember to go back out and cover the grill after letting it cool down. I should contact weber for some replacement parts though

Cook dinner
Eat dinner
Cover grill
This isn't rocket science.  :)

+1. I'd say I remember maybe 75% of the time - much better than just not using one at all.

This actually works pretty good: https://www.weber.com/US/en/accessories/accessories-by-category/tools--et--cookware/burger-press/6483.html
OOS. No need for Weber brand though. I got this one a while ago on sale for ~$7:
https://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-CSBP-100-Stuffed-Burger-Press/dp/B00B58A0OC/?tag=cl03f-20

Actually, beyond the grill itself, I find it hard to justify the Weber premium. Sure, they make high quality grill covers, but you can find no name brands maybe a notch down for a third of the price.

I have had no success with them and tried many. They all cracked during the Chicago winters.

Yes
Bought it with the grill. Received the employee (from a friend) discount of like 40-45%. So it eased the sting of the high price. Even at regular price I would buy it again.

you actually stuff or just use it to shape?
Shape to keep them together when grilling. I found putting them in the fridge after making them helps a lot to keep them from falling apart on the grill. I make the patties 6 oz each.
