The Do's
Great value grill: Someone please add :)

The Dont's
Don't play with the food on the grill. Flip it once (or twice if need be), that's all.

Be careful. Once your grill gets used you can have one heck of a grease fire and destroy your grill.
I singed my face as a 10 year old (but that was leaving fires on while closing tank valve instead of closing valve then lighting new fire to burn out excess)

where are the experts when we need them??
I don't think any of the experts have one of those.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

i obviously don"t think expert have this (although the name of this grill is expert grill), but REAL expert are able to tell if something is good or junk just by looking at the specs. no need to own it!!!

I am looking to install a gas line for a grill. Is is safe/recommended to use a extended hose as per link https://www.amazon.com/GASPRO-Disconnect-Appliance-Fitting-CSA-Certified/dp/B07MXTMKLN?ref_=ast_sto_dp
I'm not 100% sure the exact location that I would be grilling and have flexibility on where I grill, and also would prefer to just have the  shut off valve installed from inside to outside instead of running pipes along the exterior wall.
Weber comes with a 10 LF hose which would not be long enough for me.

The hose is safe but check regulations for your area. Your shutoff valve will be outside with direct access?

I need new grates so i did ful replacement.

My plan is to have one face up and one face down with a small space in between. that way i can cook on low (or indirect) heat and sear on a hot grate.
made modified smash burgers on the flat top last night. Fantastic!
quarter pound 80/20 ground beef, s/p, smashed to about 1 inch (hence "modified"). Had a nice crust and super juicy.

I usually do bigger when i do traditional grilling but A) we had 1 pound of ground meat for 4 people. B) i think this worked out better for smashing. any bigger and it would be significantly bigger than the bun. When i make a loco moco i can go bigger though.
