Interview upon arrival is at immigration. Use the regular global entry line and tell the agent you're doing interview upon arrival.
So you can't use Global Entry upon arrival if you fly United?

You can use the global entry line and the officer there will conduct the interview

Oh, I see now. I misunderstood. So you don't need the office in Terminal B.

Can someone explain? . 1 week ago I applied for my self and then for my wife.

My wife got approved 2 days after.  Mine is still pending even though I submitted my application first . Is that something that happens ?

We landed at Newark earlier this week and shlepped spoke with the guy who takes the ticket from Global Entry. We told him my wife needed an interview, that we just landed from Israel. It was 4 PM. The web site says they are open until 10 PM. He said that the guy who does the interview was on a 1 hour lunch break. So we should go to the office at Terminal B. She shlepped there and got there by 4:20 PM. The sign said they closed at 4 PM. So we left. How are we supposed to comply if they don't let us do this interview? Frustrating!! Dan, any ideas? Thanks.

At least you were told that they are on lunch break. I was taken to a room, passport taken, and waited 2 hours

I applied for GE on Monday, got pre-approved yesterday, no appts. avail until August (EWR) and I'm flying in August. Then checked again this morning, no appt. available EVER (I think that means next 12 months). Checked back an hour later, 11:45am appt. avail today and another avail on Fri... I took the today appt. Arrived right on time, a few people sitting but I was let right in, approved, fingerprinted, photo, and on my way. Back in my car < 10min. (I was able to do this since I live about 15 min. from the airport and WFH so easy can take a "coffee/lunch/whatever break")

Funny thing is the guy looks at my passport and says it expires TODAY but he'll approve it since technically its still valid, he said I'll have to come back in to update with new passport number before I fly (although from what I can tell I can update it online). I wonder if they would have allowed it on an expired passport if I didn't get that appt. today. I already applied for online renewal for my passport earlier so just waiting for that in the mail.

I got an email a few minutes ago with my number, so applied Monday and completed today, 2 days from start to finish isn't bad. Now lets see if I can get my wife to do it too, she does not WFH so the appt. part will be much trickier, hopefully we can score an appt. after school finishes before camp "starts" (teacher).

Yes, I know I could have done it upon entry the next time I fly but if I have the TSA-Precheck for departure that would be useful so I opted to do the appt. now and pay the $5.25 parking fee, so I guess GE wasn't free for me after all (Cap 1 Venture X).

Anyone know if I need to do anything to get the credit on my Cap 1 Venture X card? do I need to "request" a credit for it or is it automatically detected and credited? I didn't see anyway online to request a credit for that.

Really weird. Seems you can schedule an online interview now.

I did an interview upon arrival does it make sense it takes a few weeks to kick in? As of now still shows to schedule an appointment?

EWR evening appointments?

So when scheduling an interview for EWR for my wife's GE application it was the typical "No appointments available for this location" message so I was periodically checking/refreshing on and off for a few days. Of course there were appt. that opened up at random for varying times/days far out into the future. But then it showed for 4 days, Wed. July 6th, 7th, 13th, & 14th like 40+ appointments available each day from 4:30pm thru 10:15pm... I didn't think they had evening/night appointments. I booked 1 for 7pm but I'm a little skeptical of it, I'm afraid she'll show up and the office will be closed. Is it possible that they started having evening hours *some* nights a week? Did some employee mess up and add those appointment slots in backend but they don't actually exist? Their site still just shows 8:15am - 4:20pm https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/enrollment-centers/new-jersey

I have an appt this week in EWR. My license expired last week, I renewed online and have the interim license paper.

Any DP on if I'm wasting my time to go down there if my license doesn't come before my appt?

You don't need your license if you have your passport.  Any billing document that shows proof of your address would be fine.

A CC bill is ok?
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.

Don't need an appointment for interview on arrival. Just check the website for where to go for exact instructions.

I tried it in EWR recently, and they didn't let me inside the office
