Probably would. I have my old address on my license so..
I just downloaded a bank statement and they accepted it.
  Good thinking there.

Yup, I first started arguing that I saw online only passport is needed, so he said they don't know our job and I can't finish the process without proof of address.
Than this came to my mind..

Agent happened to accept a phone rental receipt, that was rented for my trip tat morning, as a proof of address...
well isn't that great proof? just comes to show how safe and secure GE is..

Anyone here went for an interview in JFK pre flight to Canada? How long does the whole appointment take?
I would use mobile passport but thats only great for arrivals.
Really want to apply for nexus, but availability is so scarce for some odd reason so theres no way I can book an appointment for when I land.

We had applied for our Global Entry passes and our interview, which we had to schedule months in advance, was scheduled very close to our departure for Israel.  We decided to stop at the office at BWI airport on our way to visit our kids.  It turned out, on that day, they had a lot of no shows for the interview.  We were able to slip in to an empty slot.  Don't know if this is possible in larger offices like the JFK or NY metro area, but if you have the ability to try it on a weekday or get to the airport early on another trip, you may be able to bypass the wait.

Believe it or not there's a lot of open slots in JFK.

EWR works for sure. Although when I went there was an appt for 15 after my arrival, so I scheduled that one.

Living in brooklyn, not worth driving out to ewr to go to yyz, will take jfk vs lga to go to the GE interview.
What I really wanted was to get Nexus as I go constantly from the u.s. to Canada but being that in YYZ there is no availability for an appointment up untill Oct 16th, I tried in the past walking up today agent asked him if I can take an interview he told me I have to book it in advance online so that takes care of that, I guess we'll have to do with GE until I can get Nexus, and lastly find a seller for 15$ to get the ge application fee, or find a freind of mine who has an au who never made use of the credit yet.

It's a few feet before the exit doors. Before any security

so it seems it would not make a difference if I take the interview by arrivals or departures?

How does mobile passport compared to GE for kids?

I got GE for my baby and yes need to see an agent but almost no wait.

Not sure, but as a PSA...
If you don't have GE for your kids and you go on that line you can LOSE your global privileges.
Children need their own GE cards.

TSA pre is usually included for children if the adult has it... The same is NOT true with global.

Interesting!!

https://thepointsguy.com/news/global-entry-rules-mistake-story/

Global Entry membership only works for one person. Each individual needs to enroll separately *(including young children)* , and you must be enrolled to use the expedited security lanes. Attempting to bring someone else with you could not only delay you further,

*but also cause your membership to be revoked*

That’s not the case for TSA PreCheck, which extends to children 12 or under who are traveling with a parent or guardian. So long as your boarding pass has the PreCheck indicator, they should be able to accompany you.

TSA pre usually also extends to everyone on your reservation. I had people who were not US citizens get pre check because they were on my reservation
