Does anyone know how interview on arrival works at YYZ?
I went there recently,I think there is only one place for the interviews which is directly across the police station inside the terminal.
Go for Nexus if your already taking the interview.
I go to Canada pretty often, enough that it pays for the family to each get approved for Nexus, as the border lines when crossing is retarded sometimes, as well when flying you could use the Nexus lane when going in and coming out of Canada.
I ended up being in Toronto for suckos so I found an open date early morning chol hamoed and went for the GE application, while I was there I'm like any way for me to swap it for the Nexus application as a Nexus is only $50 while global entry is $100 (and Nexus includes everything while global entry only includes TSA) so he said good question I don't think I could do that for you, but you should have applied for Nexus because whatever is in our system it's the only thing I can process.
The whole interview was 5 minutes chick-chock he said Nexus applications are much longer, he was thrilled to process my GE application as he's used to processing Nexus applications which takes some time.
Very interesting that none of the Canadian Nexus enrollment people had weapons on them.
I remember when flying from JFK to YYZ I stopped off at the Nexus enrollment center / GE enrollment center and ask about an interview they told me no you have to schedule an interview, so don't know if they offer walk-in applicants/applications.
